What You Can Expect Working in the QSR Construction Superintendent Position
The QSR Construction Superintendent will develop, document, support and maintain estimates, quotes, reports, and operational metrics. This position combines project management, estimating, operational leadership, customer support, field construction oversight, and team development responsibilities. The role drives accountability for project scope, schedules, budgets, manpower planning, logistics, risk mitigation, customer communication, and operational performance while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. The Construction Superintendent will supervise and oversee the installation of all QSR projects including team leads and contractors who are performing the work onsite.
This position works with Operations, Production, Project Managers, Quality, Leadership, Safety, Service, Transportation, Finance, and third‑party vendors and contractors.
- Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout of multiple projects while ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, resource allocations, risk assessments, and communication strategies.
- Monitor project performance, costs, timelines, and deliverables; implement corrective actions to address risks and issues.
- Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, subcontractors, vendors, and logistics to support successful project execution.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, forecasts, metrics, and performance measurements.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with manufacturing, engineering, logistics, procurement, transportation, finance, sales, and service teams to achieve project goals.
- Drive accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement through effective processes and performance management.
- Promote a culture of safety and compliance by enforcing company policies, supporting incident investigations, and ensuring adherence to OSHA, customer, and regulatory requirements.

- 5+ years leading construction crews, subcontractors, or project teams.
- Experience preparing estimates, budgets, schedules, and project documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and technical documents.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
- OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications.
- Experience in modular construction, industrial construction or manufacturing.
- Knowledge of applicable building codes and regulatory requirements.
- Experience leading field personnel, contractors, and cross‑functional teams.
This job does have supervisory responsibilities including up to a total of 10 employees. As a people manager, you will coach and develop employees in alignment with company policies and values, using corrective action where needed. You will be the direct contact for team questions and concerns and will support your team to maximize operational success.
