Site Superintendent - Commercial Building Division

This position is responsible for managing field operations for self‑performed, large‑scope commercial projects such as water/waste‑water treatment facilities, industrial structures and commercial buildings.

• Work alongside the Project Manager to ensure projects are completed safely and on schedule.
• Manage and assist with self‑performed and subcontracted scopes of work.
• Maintain an organized and safe working environment.
• Provide status reports regarding production, anticipated challenges and labor needs.
• Conduct scheduled subcontractor meetings and safety debriefs.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations across all project phases.
• Resolve any project‑related issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to timelines and budgets.
• Other miscellaneous duties as directed by the VP of the Commercial Building Division.

• 5+ years of experience managing large‑scope commercial projects as a general contractor.
• Proven experience in managing skilled trades and subcontractors.
• Strong working knowledge of commercial means and methods and general best practices.
• Ability to interpret plans and provide clear direction regarding all required specifications.
• Knowledge of and strict adherence to OSHA Construction Standards.
• Ability to collaborate and cooperate with peers, clients, subcontractors, general public and code officials.
• Continuously keep current on emerging industry trends/technology and pursue continuous education.
• Consistent with company values of skill, integrity and responsibility.
• Ability to work flexible hours.

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, construction science, engineering or a related field is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to run a total station is preferred.
• Experience with water/waste‑water treatment facilities is a plus.
