Project Coordinator - Commercial Construction - Wichita, KS

Position Summary

The Project Coordinator will play a key support role within the operations team, assisting Project Managers and Estimators throughout the pre‑construction and construction phases. This position is responsible for coordinating and tracking critical project documentation, supporting bid efforts, and ensuring timely communication across teams. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast‑paced construction environment.

• Support Project Managers and Estimators with pre‑bid activities, including document organization, bid invitations, and scope coordination
• Prepare, track, and manage RFIs to ensure timely responses and project clarity
• Assist in the preparation, submission, and tracking of submittals and material samples in accordance with project specifications
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date project documentation and logs (RFI logs, submittal logs, etc.)
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to obtain required project information
• Review construction documents and drawings to assist with scope verification and completeness
• Help ensure compliance with project requirements, schedules, and quality standards
• Provide general administrative and operational support to the project team as needed

• 1–3 years of experience in construction, project coordination, or administrative support (commercial construction preferred)
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel
• Working knowledge of construction management software such as the Edge, Procore, Bluebeam, Planswift, Onscreen Takeoff/Quick Bid, or similar tools
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings is preferred
• Detail-oriented with a self‑motivated, proactive, problem‑solving mindset

• This role operates in a task-driven, fast-paced office environment with a strong emphasis on computer-based work and digital project management tools
• Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time
• Must be comfortable managing multiple deadlines and high volumes of information daily
• Occasionally required to lift and move materials up to 25–30 lbs (including but not limited to submittal samples, plans, or project documents)
