The OpportunityLead a self-performing concrete crew through layout, forming, placement, finishing, and curing. You own schedule, quality, safety, and customer experience on every pour.
K-Construction's concrete crews are a separate career ladder (Laborer
- Skilled
- Lead
- Foreman). This is the top of the concrete ladder - if you take the craft seriously, this is your seat.
- Direct concrete ops end-to-end: layout, excavation coordination, forming, reinforcement, slab prep, placement, finishing, curing, punch list.
- Lead daily huddles and monitor the critical path.
- Adjust labor and plans for weather, inspections, deliveries, and changing site conditions.
- Inspect work at every key stage - forms square and tight, elevations correct, finishes to spec.
- Develop crew members through coaching, training, and mentoring.
- Own customer experience on site.
Essential:
- Concrete foreman experience leading self-performing crews.
- Deep technical knowledge of forming, reinforcement, placement, finishing, and curing.
- Schedule, critical-path, and resource-allocation discipline.
- Customer communication and dispute-resolution skills.
- Proficiency with Buildertrend or similar.
Ideal:
- ACI Concrete Flatwork Finisher or similar certification.
- OSHA 10 / 30.
- Prior crew development experience.
