Concrete Estimator – Kansas City, KS

• Set up estimates to include correct alternates, general conditions, vendor and subcontractor pricing, labor production and wage rates in alignment with bid strategy.
• Conduct take-off by owning all items from take-off software through identifying and quantifying all necessary concrete scope items.
• Provide correct project information to the appropriate parties during turnover and planning phases.
• Validate that accurate and detailed information was provided to the operations team for execution planning.

• Experience with structural concrete estimating preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft programs:
  Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Good organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Experience in estimating for a Self-Perform General Contractor or Concrete Contractor is a plus.
• Experience with a variety of project types, emphasis on Commercial/Industrial.
• General knowledge of construction principles/practices required with experience on projects over $1 million.
• Knowledge of budgeting, negotiated bids, and hard bids.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.
