Music Minister

Overview:
The Music Minister leads the congregation in Christ-centered worship through a blended style that incorporates both traditional hymns and contemporary praise music. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading weekly worship services for a congregation of approximately 100 people, fostering an atmosphere of genuine worship and spiritual growth.

• Lead all musical elements of Sunday worship services, including congregational singing, special music, and seasonal programs.

• Plan and prepare a blended worship service that thoughtfully integrates hymns, modern worship songs, and Scripture.

• Coordinate and rehearse with musicians, vocalists, and audio/visual volunteers.

• Select music that aligns with the pastor’s sermon themes and the church’s doctrinal beliefs.

• Oversee the operation of sound, media, and worship technology (slides, microphones, livestream if applicable).

• Recruit, train, and encourage volunteers for the worship ministry.

• Maintain communication with the pastor and church leadership regarding worship planning and ministry needs.

• Organize special services such as Christmas, Easter, and other church events.

• Care for church-owned musical instruments and equipment.
