Overview
Russell Tobin's client, a global food and agricultural company, is hiring for a Customer Service Support I – Order Management in Wichita, KS.
Job Title:
Customer Service Support I – Order Management
Shift: Saturday - Wednesday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)
Pay rate: 19.41/hr.
Responsibilities- Support order intake, confirmation, processing, and fulfillment activities.
- Assist in identifying and resolving routine order management issues by collaborating with internal teams.
- Update internal stakeholders on order status and communicate any issues as needed.
- Generate and maintain order-related documentation according to established procedures.
- Resolve routine administrative and clerical issues related to order processing.
- Verify customer orders by confirming credit, contracts, pricing, inventory availability, and transportation alignment.
- Provide order status updates, invoice information, and contract balance details to customer-facing representatives.
- Handle moderately complex administrative, technical, or customer support tasks under general supervision.
- Escalate more complex issues to the appropriate team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of related customer service, order management, administrative, or clerical experience.
- Experience supporting order processing or customer service operations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and order management systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and adaptable to changing priorities.
