College Access Mentor - Data Entry Wichita

Overview

Kansas Kids @ GEAR UP is a state-wide program serving students in foster care, grades 7-12 and first year in college.

This is NOT a remote position - check the job location before applying!

• Hire Type Part Time
• Pay Range is $18,000-$20,000/yr, adjusted based on qualifications
• Work Schedule Mon-Fri, 9:00am-12:00pm, 1:00pm-4:00pm with lunch from 12:00pm-1:00pm
• Export Compliance Requirement No export control requirement.

• Enters transcripts, program activities and any documentation to the Kansas Kids @ GEAR UP database.
• Monitors and tracks student academic progress, graduation, enrollment in college and FAFSA completion.
• Assists students with KKGU dual credit application, DCF tuition waiver application and credit recovery, if needed.
• This position may be asked to help with program activities.

Valid Driver's license needed. This position requires you to drive to different schools to pick up transcripts or grade cards. You may also be asked to help transport students.

• Completion of 60 credit hours of college coursework
• At least one year experience working in an office setting

30 hours per week (60 per pay period). Set office hours:
Mon-Fri, 9:00am-12:00pm, 1:00pm-4:00pm. Must be able to complete a State of Kansas Child Abuse and Neglect background check.
