- Guide and mentor Men’s Ministry and Women’s Ministry Leadership Teams to lead well-planned ministries for discipleship and fellowship that align with the vision and priorities of the church.
- Develop and oversee a strategic ministry plan for local, national, and international Great Commission engagement, collaborating with other staff, the MEBC Missions Committee, MEBC volunteer ministry leaders, and outside ministry partners as needed.
- Facilitate the work of the Connections Ministry Team to develop a clear and effective plan for welcoming visitors, forming initial connections, and guiding them toward appropriate next steps: including believer’s baptism, church membership, ABF enrollment, and service in ministry.
- Meet regularly with staff pastors for concentrated prayer and strategic ministry discussion.
- Manage relevant discipleship-related budget lines, including collaborating with the Finance Committee to plan discipleship-related lines in annual budget planning.
- At least 3 years of pastoral ministry experience in a local church setting
