Position: Faculty, Welding (9Mo)

We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Welding Faculty member to enhance our educational offerings. This role is pivotal in training the next generation of welders, focusing on hands‑on skills, safety protocols, and adherence to industry standards.

Compensation $49,108.08

Location City Center

As a Welding Faculty, you will be responsible for:

  • Instructing students in various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, Stick, and other methods.
  • Designing and updating course curricula to meet the evolving standards of the welding industry.
  • Providing assessments of student skills through practical evaluations and theoretical tests.
  • Ensuring a safe and effective learning environment by supervising lab activities and equipment use.
  • Participating in professional development to stay current with welding technologies and educational methodologies.
  • Collaborating with industry partners to facilitate internship and job placement opportunities for students.

Education:

  • Associates degree from an accredited institution. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of four years’ experience in the welding field or equivalent.
  • American Welding Society (AWS) certification is preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of various welding techniques and industry standards.

Skills:

  • Strong communication and instructional skills.
  • Ability to assess and support diverse learners.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment.
