KSCAC is hiring a College and Career Adviser to guide high school students through post‑secondary and workforce pathways. The adviser supports students with applications, financial aid, career exploration, and connections to employers, colleges, and workforce opportunities.
Highlights- Guide students in partner high schools through college, technical certificates, apprenticeships, military, and direct‑to‑work pathways
- Provide support with college applications and financial aid processes
- Facilitate career exploration and connect students with employers and workforce opportunities
- Use personal vehicle to travel locally to high schools
- Requires a bachelor's degree and a valid driver's license
- Preferred skills include strong communication, organizational ability, youth mentoring experience, and familiarity with college admission and workforce resources
- Spanish language proficiency is a plus
- Compensation is approximately $40,000 annually ($19.23/hour)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
