Overview

As an Admissions Counselor with WSU Tech
, you will guide prospective students through the admissions process, build relationships, provide educational guidance, and ensure potential students feel welcomed and valued in our community.

• Salary: $18.50 per hour

• Schedule:
  
  Monday-Thursday 9:00am–6:00pm , Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

• Assist prospective students in navigating the admissions procedure, ensuring they understand the steps required for enrollment.
• Conduct engaging campus tours and group presentations to showcase our programs and facilities.
• Provide technical assistance regarding student self‑service platforms and any related materials.
• Communicate regularly with prospects through in‑person meetings, phone calls, emails, and traditional mail.
• Deliver excellent customer service and act as a welcoming presence for visitors and prospective students.

• Associate Degree or relevant work experience is required;
  Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

• Previous experience in college admissions, student services, or a related sales role is preferred.
• Demonstrated self‑motivation and commitment to helping prospective students understand their educational options.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) is essential.
• Ability to learn and use student management software such as Banner within three months of employment.
