* Job Description:

** Reporting to the Associate Dean of Pre-Clerkship Education this role will provide instruction specifically in Clinical Skills for the Physicianship Track.
** SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
**** Teaching (100%)
*** Works with Department Chair to provide hands-on student training in history and physical assessment, diagnostic testing, and procedural skills
* Assists in monitoring the progress of all students to ensure successful progress toward graduation and recommend disciplinary action when necessary
* Teaches in assigned courses
* Assist in student testing, re-testing and remediation as necessary
* Develop clinical scenarios for standardized patient education assessment/evaluation and simulation educucation/assessment
* Perform other related duties, as assigned

* SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

** N/A
** QUALIFICATION(S):
*** Health professional with the following degrees: DO, MD, Paramedic, APN, PA
* Clinical experience providing direct patient care their specialty
* Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Be detailed oriented and have excellent interpersonal skills
* Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products and the desire and ability to learn course management software/distance learning technologies
* Please provide examples of accomplishments, skills, and publications

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in precepting Osteopathic medical students in a clinical setting.
* Experience as an instructor in an clinical skills course or CME course
* Point of Care Ultrasound as well as experience with Simulation.
