Position SummaryThose who serve in the position of Math Lead Teacher stand at the center of College Lift’s flagship program, Saturday Academy. Math Lead Teachers are responsible for delivering the primary instructional content within the Math area of expertise to a given grade level of College Lift scholars.
Minimum QualificationsRequired:
- A licensed teacher and/or at least two (2) years of teaching experience in Mathematics at a recognized college or university, or professional instructional experience in Math within a K-12 educational setting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Facilitate four 55‑minute instructional sessions in math every Saturday Academy.
- Collaborate with instructional assistant to facilitate small group/individual instruction; this includes all related activities of Saturday Academy.
- Complete post‑instructional data management in collaboration with Academic Coordinator.
- The employee will need to regularly operate and use computers, phones and other electronic equipment.
- The employee will frequently communicate and must be able to exchange accurate information with others.
- The employee may need to move around their office and/or campus to attend meetings/ classes and to access files, machinery or other job‑related tools.
- The employee may need to lift and/or move equipment, tools or paperwork up to 25 pounds.
- The employee may need to position themselves by reaching, stooping, kneeling or crouching in order to adjust or collect equipment and/or supplies.
- Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Encounters low to moderate noise levels in the work environment.
