WSU Tech HVAC Program Adjunct Faculty Position
WSU Tech is dedicated to fostering a supportive and high-quality educational environment that prepares students for successful careers. Our faculty play a critical role in sharing their industry knowledge and hands-on experience with students preparing to enter the workforce.
The HVAC program is seeking an experienced industry professional to serve as an Adjunct Faculty member. This position is responsible for delivering course content and providing hands-on training to students in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will bring current industry knowledge and practical experience to the classroom while helping students develop the technical skills needed for careers in the HVAC industry.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will vary, but are not limited to:
- Deliver engaging instruction aligned with course objectives and industry standards.
- Provide hands-on training related to HVAC systems, installation, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Create and maintain an inclusive, safe, and productive classroom environment.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to support student success.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.
- Incorporate current industry technology, practices, and tools into instruction.
- Collaborate with academic team members and support staff to facilitate student success.
- Participate in program evaluation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Represent WSU Tech at relevant community and recruitment events, as needed.
