We are seeking a Product Stewardship Manager to lead initiatives ensuring the safety, compliance, and environmental responsibility of products throughout their lifecycle. This role involves regulatory compliance, risk assessment, cross-functional collaboration, and sustainability efforts.
Position Responsibilities Regulatory Compliance- Ensure products meet all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Monitor changes in regulations and implement necessary updates to processes and documentation.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders to maintain compliance.
- Conduct product risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Oversee product safety testing, hazard analysis, and reporting.
- Provide guidance on safe product handling, storage, and disposal practices.
- Develop and implement programs promoting environmental stewardship.
- Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to integrate sustainable practices.
- Track and report on sustainability metrics and progress.
- Partner with R&D, manufacturing, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure product stewardship objectives are met.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on product stewardship practices.
- Support product launches by ensuring compliance and safety considerations are integrated.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in product stewardship, regulatory affairs, or chemical safety.
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
- Responsible Care or similar product stewardship certifications
- Regulatory or environmental compliance certifications
- Competitive salary range of $115,000 – $130,000.
