Cost Engineer Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Cost Engineer to join our Project Controls Group, focusing on cost management and analysis. The successful candidate will work collaboratively to support project controls and cost functions, either from the corporate office or at one of our plants in MN or TX.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Project Controls Group to manage cost estimation and control processes.
- Conduct thorough cost analysis to support project budgeting and purchasing decisions.
- Manage change orders and ensure alignment with project budgets.
- Provide support for project controls activities across various locations.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Controls.
- Proficient in project controls, purchasing, and construction cost estimation.
- Experience in managing both large and small projects.
- Familiarity with Ecosys and Power BI is preferable.
- Strong self-starter with the ability to work independently and effectively from day one.
Skills & Qualifications
- TA experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to receive positive client feedback.
This role offers flexibility to work either from our corporate office in Wichita or at our plants in MN or TX. The position supports project controls and cost functions within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Wichita, KS.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
