• Analyzes and designs sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel and optimization of product flow
• May establish or assisting establishing accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations
• Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems
• On the basis of these studies, develops and implements optimized product flow
• May assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities
• Utilizes analytical skills for capacity analysis, tool and equipment utilization as well as line balancing
• Performs trend analysis of shop performance measures to identify opportunities for improvements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program
• 5+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing engineering
• Knowledge of IE Tools used in production including capacity analysis, theory of constraints, waste elimination, production improvements
• Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
• Experience leading projects and project teams with a continuous improvement focus
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of leadership
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

• Experience in aerospace manufacturing environment
• Project Management

Summary Pay Range - Mid-Level (Level
3): $85,600 - $131,200
