Location: Wichita, KS (On-site – mandatory)

We are seeking an experienced MRB Liaison Engineer to support production and develop repair solutions as part of the non-conformance resolution process. This role is critical in ensuring aircraft quality, compliance, and safety by providing timely engineering dispositions for production issues. The successful candidate will work directly on aircraft, collaborating cross-functionally to resolve airframe and system discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities- Support production operations across multi-platform aircraft programs
- Investigate and gather information directly on aircraft to resolve non-conformances
- Identify and resolve airframe (structural) and system issues by providing technical support to production
- Develop and release repair dispositions in response to Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) raised by Quality
- Ensure adherence to standard engineering practices in repair development
- Design effective and optimized repairs for anomalies identified during aircraft production
- Maintain aircraft quality, regulatory compliance, and safety in all repair solutions
- Accurately document engineering actions and disposition decisions
- Work closely with stress, materials & processes, systems, flight sciences, design, methods, quality, and operations teams
- Contribute to risk reduction related to product or component failures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ownership and accountability for assigned work
- Solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated adaptability and initiative
- Strong organizational and technical documentation skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience
- Prior MRB experience on primary aircraft structures (required)
- Knowledge of airframe structures and system installation requirements
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience with CATIA V5
- Experience using MRB / non-conformance software
- Experience in aerospace or advanced manufacturing environments
- Prior MRB experience on Boeing Commercial aircraft programs
- Experience with composite structures (highly preferred; metallic experience acceptable)
- Ability to mentor junior MRB engineers and support delegation readiness
- Must be able to work fully on-site in Wichita, KS
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Hands‑on production support experience is strongly preferred
