About the Role
Lead plant engineering and reliability efforts to improve uptime, reduce downtime, and drive continuous improvement across operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Improve equipment reliability and maintenance performance
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, TPM)
- Manage capital projects (installs, upgrades, layout changes)
- Align production, maintenance, and engineering efforts
- Support automation and plant modernization
- Develop KPIs and maintenance performance tracking
- Lead PM/PdM programs and CMMS optimization
- Ensure safety and regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA)
- Mentor and support maintenance teams
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Experience in plant engineering, maintenance, or reliability
- Strong CMMS and maintenance program experience
- Knowledge of PM/PdM, RCA, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement tools
- Heavy capital project (Cap Ex) management experience required
- Experience leading COINS projects and plant improvement initiatives
- Strong maintenance and equipment reliability background
- Experience managing projects, vendors, and budgets
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Manufacturing experience required
- Must be a strong, classically trained manufacturing professional with a hands-on, "roll up your sleeves" mentality
