Position: Airframe and Powerplant Technician - New Training Opportunity

ATTENTION:
Transitioning Military & Veteran Aircraft Mechanics

We are seeking motivated transitioning service members and veterans to train and work toward earning their FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&{P}) license at Bombardier in Wichita, KS.

This opportunity allows you to earn $30/hour while training in a 6-week FAA A&{P} preparation course through WSU Tech College, with career opportunities available upon certification.
DOES NOT REQUIRE USING YOUR GI BILL.

If you have military experience in aviation maintenance, engines, mechanical systems, or other technical specialties that qualifies for the FAA form 8610-2 sign-off, your background may transfer directly into this aviation career pathway.

Program Highlights

Requirements
  • Must be eligible for FAA form 8610-2 A&{P} sign-off
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
  • Willingness to complete FAA A&{P} licensing requirements
  • Must bring a personal laptop for training (Apple products, iPads, and phones are not permitted)
  • Steel-toe shoes required
  • No initial tool requirements; time will be provided during training to build your tool inventory
