Looking for an Aerospace Structural Design Engineer with 5+ years of experience in aircraft structures, strong CATIA V5 and 3
DEXPERIENCE skills, and hands-on experience designing nacelle, metallic, and composite components. The ideal candidate has worked on primary and secondary aircraft structures and understands manufacturability, weight optimization, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and design primary and secondary aircraft structures.
- Create and maintain detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using CATIA V5 and 3
DEXPERIENCE (3DX). - Design and integrate nacelle structural components and assemblies.
- Support the development of metallic and composite structural parts.
- Evaluate designs for performance, structural integrity, manufacturability, and cost effectiveness.
- Collaborate with stress, manufacturing, tooling, and systems engineering teams.
- Prepare and maintain engineering documentation and release packages.
- Support weight reduction initiatives, payload integration, and lofting activities as required.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications and applicable regulatory requirements.
