Senior Electrical Engineer (Contract) - Wichita, KS

Position Overview

Seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with extensive experience supporting the development, testing, and certification of aerospace electromechanical systems. This role will focus on test stand development, electronic system testing, and new product development activities.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and support electrical test stands for aerospace applications.
  • Perform assembly, disassembly, troubleshooting, and testing of electronic and electromechanical systems.
  • Support new product development from concept through validation and testing.
  • Develop manufacturing test processes and test equipment.
  • Collaborate with certification and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with applicable aerospace standards.
  • Generate engineering documentation, test procedures, and technical reports.
  • Work closely with cross‑functional engineering and manufacturing teams.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
  • 10+ years of electrical engineering experience.
  • Strong background in aerospace test stand development and testing.
  • Experience with motors, generators, actuators, or similar electromechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with FAA‑regulated environments and aerospace certification requirements.
  • Proficiency with Solid Works (experience with NX, CATIA, or Creo is also acceptable).
  • Ability to obtain or maintain required security clearances.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with fuel systems or fuel system test stands.
  • Military fire suppression/extinguisher system experience.
  • Finite Element Analysis (FEA) experience, particularly Ansys.

Senior Mechanical Engineer – Hydraulics & Pneumatics (Contract) - Tulsa, OK

Position Overview

Seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with a strong aerospace background and expertise in hydraulic and pneumatic systems. This role will support the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems and test equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems and test stands.
  • Support testing, validation, troubleshooting, and product improvement efforts.
  • Apply hydraulic and pneumatic engineering principles to aerospace applications.
  • Create and maintain engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, test, and quality teams throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Support product development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
  • 10+ years of mechanical engineering experience.
  • Aerospace industry experience required.
  • Strong background in hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Experience developing or supporting mechanical test stands.
  • Proficiency with Solid Works or comparable CAD tools such as NX, CATIA, or Creo.
  • Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience performing Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
  • Working knowledge of Ansys.
  • Background supporting aerospace testing, validation, or qualification programs.
