Join a leading aerospace team where you'll contribute to the design, modification, and support of advanced aircraft structures. You'll work on special mission aircraft, aftermarket modifications, flight test programs, and manufacturing support, collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate aircraft build issues and develop structural engineering solutions.
- Author temporary engineering dispositions and MRB rework instructions.
- Review aircraft non-conformances and coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams.
- Design and release Flight Test Engineering Change Requests (ECRs).
- Develop structural special instructions and support aircraft modifications.
- Design and release structural and systems installations for Special Missions programs.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering team members.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or related Engineering.
- 8+ years of structural design experience in the aerospace industry.
- U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder (ITAR requirement).
- Experience with Special Missions or Aftermarket Aircraft Modifications.
- Experience supporting aircraft manufacturing and engineering changes.
- Leadership experience preferred.
- 20,000+ hours of CATIA V5 experience.
- CATIA V5 (Assembly Design, Part Design, Aerospace Sheet Metal, Tubing Design, Kinematics, Electrical Harness Routing).
- Siemens NX and Teamcenter PLM experience.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and Microsoft Office skills.
- Aircraft manufacturing experience is a plus.
