Mechanical Engineer – Wind Power & Industrial Systems

Location: Wichita Kansas

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Firm 40-hour week)

We are seeking a practical, experienced Mechanical Engineer to step into a role that offers true stability and technical ownership. We are a specialized established manufacturing company. We pride ourselves on being a steady, yet vital, operation where your designs go straight from the engineering department to our equipment on the manufacturing floor.

In this role, you will focus heavily on improving engineering designs and adapting components for wind power systems and industrial applications. You will also manage our legacy systems by modernizing our library of existing blueprints and maintaining the high engineering standards that have kept us successful for over seven decades.

We value real-world experience and are looking for someone who isn't afraid to be hands on. Ultimately, you will serve as the lead technical voice for our specialized line of internal products, helping guide our engineering department forward.

We prefer candidates with five or more years of mechanical engineering experience, as we deeply value the previous knowledge and experience that comes with years spent with a shop environment. High proficiency in Autodesk Inventor is a plus, along with a strong overall background in CAD design and a deep, practical understanding of mechanical assemblies and real-world tolerances.

Our schedule is a firm 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday; we respect your personal time.
