A&P Mechanic B-573 (M-Th 4x10 Evening Shift - 6th) Description What you will be doing as an A & P Mechanic:
Mechanical Duties
:
Perform a variety of mechanical tasks on various aircraft models, including diagnosing malfunctions, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly, and adjustment of aircraft systems to prepare for flight and deliveryEngine and Airframe Maintenance: Perform troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of turbine engines, including engine run-ups. Carry out airframe system and component changes, systems checkout, and install service bulletins and kits on both airframes and engines
Use of Tools and Equipment
:
Utilize equipment such as tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, dial gauges, vacuum gauges, timing lights, and various hand tools to repair or modify systems or assemblies
- High school education, GED, or a bonze level Work Keys certification required
- A&P License is required
- Knowledge of 100-hour, annual, and progressive inspection procedures as per FAR 43 is required.
- Experience with diversified jet, turboprop, piston, modification, aircraft/flight maintenance
- A minimum of 3 years' experience with diversified jet, turboprop, piston, modification, aircraft/flight maintenance
- 401K company match additional annual contribution equal to 4% of eligible compensation
