Program Engineer

Theoris is seeking a Program Engineer to serve as the technical liaison between customers, Sales, and Engineering while supporting new product development and aftermarket aviation programs. This role is responsible for coordinating technical information, managing program milestones, and supporting product qualification and certification efforts. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented engineer with strong communication and project management skills who can effectively represent technical information in a customer-facing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary technical interface between customers, Sales, and Engineering teams.
  • Support new product development and existing product qualification and certification programs.
  • Collect, organize, create, and communicate technical documentation to meet customer requirements and project deliverables.
  • Manage program milestones, schedules, and technical deliverables to ensure project success.
  • Review proposal requirements and support new business opportunities by determining technical compliance.
  • Collaborate with Engineering Project Managers and cross-functional teams to monitor project status and communicate progress to customers.
  • Provide technical expertise on product functionality, capabilities, features, and qualification status.
  • Protect company intellectual property by ensuring compliance with internal policies.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration from proposal development through project completion.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the aviation or related engineering industry.
  • Strong project and program management skills.
  • Understanding of electrical and electromechanical products.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational, communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
