Senior Flight Control Systems Engineer

The FBW & Secondary Flight Control Engineering team and the business are looking for a Senior Professional,
Engineering who has product and process to ensure a sustaining program (Challenger, Global Express, Global 8000) while preparing it for the challenges and demands of the future (Ecojet).

• Perform the integration of the FBW & Secondary Flight Controls system on the aircraft.
• Support the development of concepts, design approach and philosophy with the Flight Control system supplier.
• Perform/Review analysis to evaluate concepts feasibility.
• Develop, validate and verify technical requirements of the Flight Control System.
  • Review/Prepare technical requirements
  • Review/Prepare test procedures
  • Execute test rig and/or aircraft testing
  • Review/Prepare test reports in support of certification activities
• Resolve problems arising from in-service aircraft.
  • Troubleshooting, root cause determination, corrective action definition and execution
• Ensure compliance to the ARP
  4754 development process.
• Support trade off studies and life cycle cost analysis for future programs.
• Ensure the design process and the resulting equipment implementation is in line with Bombardier's requirements and standards.

Occasional trips to the Suppliers facilities and Regulatory Authorities, as well as on-site support to the Final Assembly Line (Toronto & Montreal), Completion Centers (Montreal), Flight Test Center (Wichita).
