Position Overview

The Structural Drafter will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed structural drawings and 3D models using Revit and AutoCAD. This individual will support a variety of projects ranging from commercial and industrial facilities to aviation and infrastructure-related work, gaining hands-on experience across multiple engineering disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

+ Develop detailed structural drawings and models utilizing Revit in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.

+ Prepare and update structural plans, sections, details, and construction documents to support engineering and design efforts.

+ Utilize AutoCAD to create and revise drawings as needed throughout project life cycles.

+ Collaborate closely with structural engineers, architects, designers, and project teams to translate design concepts into accurate construction documents.

+ Support projects across multiple industries, including civil, structural, architectural, industrial, and aerospace sectors.

+ Maintain accuracy, quality, and consistency of all drawings, ensuring adherence to company and client standards.

+ Assist with document management, drawing revisions, and quality control reviews.

+ Incorporate feedback from engineering teams and coordinate updates efficiently throughout project execution.

Qualifications

+ Experience as a Structural Drafter with proficiency in Revit and structural modeling.

+ Working knowledge of AutoCAD and drafting best practices.

+ Understanding of structural design principles and construction documentation.

+ Ability to work on a variety of project types and adapt to differing client and industry requirements.

+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality deliverables.

+ Effective communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary project teams.

This is a Permanent position based out of Wichita, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
