Position Responsibilities:

Facilities Project Management & Long-Range Planning. Facilities Project Management and Long-Range Planning interns support projects and planning activities that shape the future of the Wichita site. Interns may assist with facility upgrades, capital projects, space and infrastructure planning, project schedules and budgets, stakeholder coordination, asset data, and long-range site planning. Work may also support strategic planning tools and scenarios used to evaluate future facility needs.

Potential internship assignments may include:

  • Support facilities and infrastructure projects from planning through implementation
  • Develop schedules, budgets, status reports, risk logs, and project documentation
  • Assist with site, space, utility, and long-range infrastructure planning
  • Analyze facility, asset, capacity, and planning data to support investment decisions

These positions are expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Wichita, KS.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Currently enrolled in a four-year undergraduate or graduate degree program
  • Ability to work full-time during Summer 2027

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Passion for the aerospace industry and interest and enthusiasm for a career at Boeing
  • Academic excellence (GPA of 3.0 or higher)
  • Previous related internship or work experience and/or involvement with student or civic organizations
  • Majoring in one of the following:
    Project Management, Construction Management, Business, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering,…
