Job Description

We’re looking for a Structural AutoCAD Drafter to join our Industrial/Energy team at our Wichita, KS office. This individual will provide drafting and design support for a variety of projects, including refineries, ammonia/fertilizer plants, logistics/terminals, and other industrial facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Provide drafting support to engineers and designers.
  • Create and update drawings based on direction and input from engineers and designers.
  • Incorporate redline changes into existing drawings.
  • Assist project teams in meeting client expectations, quality standards, and project schedules.
Requirements
  • Associate’s degree in drafting or a related field.
  • 1–3+ years of experience with Autodesk products.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
    .
  • Hands-on Revit experience on actual projects is highly important; classroom or academic-only experience will not meet the requirement.
  • Structural Design Experience – Prior experience working with steel and concrete structures in either:
    Commercial: Office buildings, hotels, educational facilities, hospitals, churches, etc.
    Industrial: Manufacturing facilities, warehouses, oil & gas refineries, fertilizer plants, terminals, etc.
  • Experience with SDS2 is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to drawing standards.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Compliance with client drug and safety programs.
