Job Description
We’re looking for a Structural AutoCAD Drafter to join our Industrial/Energy team at our Wichita, KS office. This individual will provide drafting and design support for a variety of projects, including refineries, ammonia/fertilizer plants, logistics/terminals, and other industrial facilities.
Responsibilities- Provide drafting support to engineers and designers.
- Create and update drawings based on direction and input from engineers and designers.
- Incorporate redline changes into existing drawings.
- Assist project teams in meeting client expectations, quality standards, and project schedules.
- Associate’s degree in drafting or a related field.
- 1–3+ years of experience with Autodesk products.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
. - Hands-on Revit experience on actual projects is highly important; classroom or academic-only experience will not meet the requirement.
- Structural Design Experience – Prior experience working with steel and concrete structures in either:
Commercial: Office buildings, hotels, educational facilities, hospitals, churches, etc.
Industrial: Manufacturing facilities, warehouses, oil & gas refineries, fertilizer plants, terminals, etc. - Experience with SDS2 is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to drawing standards.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Compliance with client drug and safety programs.
