Financial Analyst

This position is part of the Finance team and will perform financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and business performance analysis. This role is critical in providing insights that drive strategic decision-making and margin improvement across our organization. Key competencies are financial modeling, profitability analysis, and planning:

• Financial modeling – creating a mathematical representation of financial performance to forecast future results, providing decision support for investments, planning, and growth strategies.
• Profitability analysis – conducts monthly analysis for product margins, product cost, as well as ad-hoc analysis and business decision support as required.
• Planning and forecasting – develop and maintain planning models to predict future financial outcomes based on historical data, market trends, and economic indicators.

• Develop and maintain financial models, analyze performance data, and create reports to provide insights into profitability trends and margin performance for segments, customers, and products.
• Analyze revenue and margin trends to identify opportunities for growth, balanced with preservation of margins.
• Analyze the financial statements actuals vs. plan/prior year and report on key drivers of variances.
• Performs price, volume, mix analysis in support of month-end closing and communicates results to the CFO and Director, FP&A.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, dashboards, and KPI analyses for CFO and executive leadership.
• Participate in ad-hoc financial projects, scenario planning, and M&A support as needed.
• Develop estimates for annual operating plans (AOP), forecasts (3+9, 6+6 & 9+3), and ad-hoc frequencies as necessary.
• Maintains and ensures data integrity in the Finance & ERP system through proper maintenance of metadata dimensions.
• Help implement and enhance FP&A tools, reporting systems, and data visualization platforms.
