The Cost Accounting Manager oversees the standard costing system for four companies, ensuring accurate inventory valuation and timely reporting of cost variances. In this role you will be part of a growing team and supporting the costing functions across the company. Comp up to $125k + bonus

Key duties include:

+ Creating and maintaining standard costs and inventory valuation processes

+ Analyzing and communicating monthly variance, job close variances, and overhead absorption

+ Preparing inventory reconciliations and reserve calculations

+ Supporting annual budget, monthly forecasts, and ERP system conversions

+ Leveraging ERP and financial platforms to improve reporting and efficiency

+ Ensuring compliance with accounting regulations and company policies

Leadership responsibilities include supporting the accounting team, collaborating across departments, supervising direct reports, and fostering a culture of teamwork.

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Strong experience in cost accounting, ERP systems, and advanced Excel (SQL knowledge a plus)

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred

+ 7+ years' experience with standard costing in ERP manufacturing (Dynamics AX experience a plus)

+ Excellent analytical, communication, and team leadership skills
