Responsibilities- Produce high quality credit presentation/annual reviews for various Approval Authorities (Internal and External)
- Use customer‑provided information to produce consistent financial spreads
- Analyze the financial spreads focusing on all financial activities of the borrower
- Identify material changes and/or trends in balance sheet and income statement
- Complete deal‑specific and global cash‑flow analysis
- Identify and analyze adequacy of collateral securing the loan(s)
- Create well‑written credit presentation/annual review that effectively exemplifies the true position of Equity Bank with respect to the credit facility(ies)
- Manage relationships with Loan Officers
- Utilize written and oral communication skills to obtain needed information for any requests/annual reviews in a timely manner
- In conjunction with Loan Officer contact customers, CPAs and advisors when needed
- Confirm all credit applications/annual reviews with officers to present the best, most accurate product to Approval Authorities
- Know and understand loan policy, underwriting guidelines, and credit procedures
- Understand commercial loan types and their uses in structuring
- Know commercial loan documentation including security documents (UCCs, Security Agreements, Real Estate Mortgages, Assignment of Leases and Rents)
- Understand real estate appraisals and evaluations, internal and from third‑party vendors
- Understand environmental reports
- Maintain positive professional image for Equity Bank
- Create friendly customer service image
- Manage other related projects, including financial covenant monitoring/approval, borrowing base certificate monitoring/approval, and preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
- Understand applicable laws and regulations such as Bank Secrecy Act, information security, and suspicious activity reporting requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned or required
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or related field
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail to identify risk factors and ensure quality in credit evaluations
- Critical thinking ability to make informed decisions based on thorough analysis of credit data
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to convey credit analysis findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment

This position requires standing, walking, bending, and squatting on a regular basis. May require the ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or reach with hands and arms. Requires ability to carry, lift, move, or push up to 25 pounds occasionally. Must be able to talk and listen to others.
Work EnvironmentThis position regularly works in an office setting. Most of the job duties require working with computers and electronic media on a regular basis.
