Koch Ag & Energy Solutions (KAES) is seeking a contribution-minded Senior Operations Finance Analyst to join the Koch Fertilizer operations finance team. In this role, you will help leaders understand what is driving financial and operational performance across our manufacturing network and turn data, business activity, and cost trends into clear, decision-ready insights.
This role offers meaningful exposure to operations, planning, reporting, and cross-functional problem solving. You will support finance cycles, improve how information is created and shared, and help the business make better decisions around reliability, production, cost, and long-term value creation.
Our TeamKoch Fertilizer is a growing leader in North American nitrogen production, with manufacturing sites across the U.S. and Canada. You will join a collaborative operations finance team that is close to the business, values curiosity and ownership, and is focused on improving how financial insights are created, shared, and used.
As part of the Koch Ag & Energy Solutions (KAES) and Koch Minerals & Trading (KMT) finance organization, the team partners across finance, operations, commercial, procurement, logistics, IT, and site teams to support accurate results, scalable reporting, and better business outcomes. This position is located at the Wichita, KS headquarters and offers a flexible work schedule, with periodic travel to production sites as business needs arise.
WhatYou Will Do
- Shape the financial story for operations by translating production, cost, reliability, and market drivers into insights that help leaders understand performance, anticipate risks, and identify opportunities.
- Support high-impact reporting and forecasting cycles, including monthly results analysis, forecast support, variance explanations, planning insights, and leadership-ready commentary.
- Partner within and across teams to improve data quality, align priorities, solve problems, and influence cross-functional initiatives.
- Modernize operations finance by using and learning tools such as Copilot/AI, Fabric, Power BI, Alteryx, SQL, or similar platforms to make reporting and analysis faster, clearer, and more sustainable
- Build team capability through mentorship, documentation, process ownership, cross-training, and knowledge sharing that connect strong execution to business impact.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Experience in finance, accounting, analytics, or business support, with a strong understanding of financial concepts.
- Ability to communicate financial and operational information clearly and accurately.
- Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines, solve problems, and deliver accurate work in time-sensitive situations.
- Experience leading with curiosity to drive profitable change in a collaborative team environment.
- Experience in operations or manufacturing finance, site finance support, cost accounting, or production-related financial analysis.
- Experience preparing and presenting financial results, forecasting materials, and providing meaningful commentary tailored to different audiences.
- Experience using automation, standardization, technology adoption, or finance transformation to improve reporting, analysis, or business processes.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor developing analysts, facilitate effective knowledge transfer or influence capability growth beyond your direct responsibilities.
