Position Summary

Program Management
Leads the development, implementation, and evaluation of statewide family systems and family engagement strategies aligned with the Kansas Title V State Action Plan and federal Maternal and Child Health priorities. Serves as the recognized subject matter expert on family systems and engagement, ensuring integration of family voice and lived experience into program design, policy development, and service delivery.
Provides strategic leadership and is accountable for advancing state and federal performance measures and outcomes related to family systems and engagement. Establishes statewide priorities, defines performance expectations, and directs implementation across local and state partners. Develops and oversees operational plans, funding strategies, and program structures that support system-level improvements.
Establishes standards, guidance, and best practices for local agencies and partners to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements and alignment with evidence-based and promising practices. Evaluates program performance through analysis of data, reports, and outcomes, and directs program and system modifications to improve effectiveness and impact.
Ensures statewide coordination of planning and implementation across programs and systems using a family-centered, systems-level approach. Work is reviewed by Title V Director for achievement of statewide outcomes, strategic alignment, and program impact.
