We are passionate about helping kids thrive at home and are looking for a Float Nurse who shares our passion to help support a variety of kids throughout the Wichita metro area, even help transition medically-fragile children from the in-patient to home setting.

• Location: Wichita and Surrounding Area (travel to 30-50 miles outside of Wichita)
• Schedule: Full Time Days, Nights, and Weekends
• Shift: Flexible to work a variety of days and shifts around the Wichita metro area, to support the unique needs of patients transitioning to the home setting. When possible, schedules will be created 2 weeks in advance.
• Additional transition support: This position will also support a patient and family as they transition to the home setting for the first time, after a hospitalization or new diagnosis/technology. Ensuring the journey from hospital to home is a smooth process, starting in the hospital with bedside training to being settled at home and ready to hand off cares to the family and long-term nursing team.
  
  The Float Nurse helps the patient and family be comfortable and confident at home after discharge.

• Must be a LPN or RN licensed in good standing with Kansas state board of nursing.
