Are you passionate about providing compassionate care to those who need it most? Sheoak Lodge Aged Care is looking for a dedicated Direct Care Workers to join our Residential Care Home team. If you have a heart for helping others and want to contribute to the well‑being of our residents, we want to hear from you!

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Assist with personal care tasks including bathing, grooming, and hygiene.
  • Provide support in mobility and dexterity maintenance.
  • Perform bed making, laundry, and cleaning duties.
  • Transport residents and help with daily living activities.
  • Communicate resident needs to the Registered Nurse and adhere to all safety and health guidelines.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Proven organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and ability to follow instructions.
  • A commitment to providing high‑quality customer service and supporting other staff.

Our Organisation

We serve a population of over 67,000 people in the Limestone Coast, as well as residents from Western Victoria. We employ over 1400 people, with 1.2% identifying as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and we are also supported by a team of approximately 600 hardworking volunteers.
