Role Summary
Cardiovascular Health & Science Professional (HSP) for the Kansas City, MO territory. The role focuses on increasing territory sales and building relationships with assigned customers through product promotion and strategic account management. The CARD HSP must possess customer, market, and business acumen, strong product and disease-state knowledge, and the ability to drive sales and promotional activities while engaging customers in person and virtually.
The role requires effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to address customer needs and deliver Pfizer objectives.
Location:
Kansas City, MO area. Territory geography includes Lee Summit, Overland Park, Leawood, Independence, Blue Springs, Warrensburg, and Raytown.
- Drives sales in assigned territory
- Engages with customers both face to face and virtually
- Develops and implements effective business and territory call plans; identifies and implements live/virtual engagement strategies to maximize effectiveness and impact
- Effectively builds rapport and relationships with customers in both live and virtual environments; uses judgment to maintain engagement by utilizing digital tools effectively
- Understands and leverages internal reports and analytics to identify, develop, and implement strategic business opportunities
- Compliantly leverages product and disease state knowledge to educate providers on unbranded and branded product value propositions for relevant patient populations; uses approved clinically oriented disease state information and patient resources as applicable
- Demonstrates strong teamwork to collaborate across the organization to address customer inquiries and advance Pfizer objectives
- Completes all administrative expectations on time and compliantly
- Required:
Bachelor's degree with 0–3 years of experience; OR Associate’s degree with 4+ years; OR High school diploma (or equivalent) with 6+ years of relevant experience - Required:
Professional Sales or Promotional Activity - Required:
Small Business Owner or other Entrepreneurial experience, Marketing, Customer Service and/or Account Management - Required:
Relevant Healthcare/Scientific roles (e.g., RN, Pharmacist, PT, OT, etc.) - Required:
Educator (e.g., Teacher, Principal) - Required:
Full Time Military experience - Required:
Must live within 25 miles of the border of the territory - Required:
Valid US driver's license and driving record in compliance with company standards. Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years will disqualify you from being hired - Preferred: 1 year of pharmaceutical, biotech, medical sales and/or medical related marketing
- Preferred:
Strong track record of sales or marketing success, strong territory management skills, outstanding communications skills, and demonstrated teamwork, leadership ability and accountability - Preferred:
Experience with applicable disease states, therapeutic area, and products - Preferred:
Knowledge of posted territory customers and markets (prescribers/HCPs/institutions/organizations) - Preferred:
Reside within the territory boundaries
- Ability to travel to all accounts/office locations within territory
- Depending on size of territory and business need, candidates may be required to stay overnight as necessary
