Imaging area - CT 726
- Adult 64 Bed Hospital with 12 bed Adult ICU. 14 bed ED department.
- Imaging department staffing on weekend during the day is 1 MRI tech / 1 Xray tech / 1 US tech (Saturday only) / 1 CT tech
- CT shifts on weekends are 7a‑7p (that are needing coverage)
- Type of CT patients
- Majority is adult ED patients (some pediatric scans are possible)
- Adult Inpatients as ordered.
- Estimated ratios, not guaranteed
- Type of equipment - Siemens Somatom Plus 128 slice CT
- EMR – Meditech
- PACS - FUJI Synapse
candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
- KSBHA license
- Work independently and be able to problem solve
candidates with these skills will be considered first.
- Siemens scanner experience
- 2-3 plus years of experience in CT
- Be able to back up XRAY if XRAY tech is in the OR.
- Mixture of CT Head, cervical spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis.
- CTA chest, neck, abdomen
- Occasional CTA Cardiac studies
- Some CT Lumbar / Thoracic spine
- CT Head Stroke protocol
- Works well in a department that could be busy or slow based on the ED patient load.
- Works well with other departments
- Dependable / prompt
Dress code - Black scrubs (not provided)
Any additional information that would entice a worker to select your unit for their assignmentWe are a small facility with family friendly atmosphere. Easy access and easy to find your way around. Our department has a great guideline book and resources to help someone come in and orientate quickly.
