Live-In IDD Direct Care Manager:
Professional Neighbor. Good Life Innovations is seeking a live-in Professional Neighbor to support the needs of clients and supervise direct care staff at our Wichita Neighborhood Network. This position includes FREE housing and utilities, with a private 2-bedroom/2-bathroom apartment provided. Salary range is $35,000 – $38,000 per year.

As a Professional Neighbor, you will live in Good Life-provided housing as a network manager and caregiver for semi-independent adults with disabilities. You will provide guidance, remote monitoring, and support for persons served, as well as assist with training and supervision of direct care staff.

• Training and providing ongoing performance feedback, coaching, and counseling to direct care staff
• Providing remote monitoring and support via tech-based monitoring systems
• Teaching and supporting daily living skills (cooking, cleaning, laundry)
• Transporting to appointments and activities in company vehicle
• Completing assigned management and administrative duties

• Previous caregiving and supervisory experience preferred
• Must successfully pass criminal background check
• Must have a valid driver's license and safe driving record
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new technology quickly
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Ability to live on-site
