Overview
The Cancer Center of Kansas (CCK) is seeking a full-time on‑site Patient Registration Representative to join our team in our Wichita, KS offices. The typical work week is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM with no major holidays, no on‑call and no weekends.

This position is responsible for ensuring a welcoming and efficient registration experience for patients and visitors at the clinic. This includes greeting patients, collecting necessary forms and information for their accounts, updating patient demographics and insurance information, and processing co‑pays. The position also involves answering and screening, responding to or directing Business Office phone calls, maintaining patient PMS records, and conducting routine demographic and insurance verification with established patients.
Additionally, the position supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards, and US Oncology’s Shared Values.
- Greet patients and visitors to the clinic in a prompt, courteous and professional manner.
- Collect, proof for completeness, and scan/file patient forms and appropriately attach into EMR or PMS system, while following workflow steps.
- Update demographics and insurance information in the system.
- Collect co‑pays and balances; provide receipt.
- Answer phone calls in a prompt, courteous, professional manner.
- Answer, screen, and respond to routine business‑office‑related questions via phone, electronic communications, or face‑to‑face contact, or route to appropriate personnel, or take thorough messages.
- Provide general administrative support by scanning/filing charts and forms or ensuring they are sent to the appropriate department/personnel for filing and scanning. Maintain a neat and orderly manner.
- Maintain a legible supply of forms and appropriate office supplies required for daily activities.
- Maintain registration queue.
- Scan and copy updated insurance, co‑pay and identification cards.
- Demonstrate compliance with all policies and procedures including HIPAA privacy rules, and maintain confidentiality of patient and company information.
- Attend required, applicable meetings.
- Remain current on all compliance requirements.
- Ensure all applicable policies and procedures of the company and Network are followed.

Education and or
Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least one (1) year front medical office experience required.
- Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) required.
- Experience using a PMS and/ or EMR is a plus.
