Patient Access Representative

Ascension -  - Responsibilities:
Schedule patient appointments and procedures accurately with physicians and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient flow and resource utilization;
Gather and accurately enter patient demographic, insurance, and clinical information into the appropriate database to establish a complete and compliant patient record;
Coordinate insurance verification and pre-authorization processes to ensure financial clearance and reduce out-of-pocket stress for the patient;
Educate patients on pre-service requirements, instructions, and financial responsibilities, promoting a clear and comfortable experience
