About the role

A Team Leader – HR Operations opportunity is available within the People and Culture team at Limestone Coast Local Health Network.

This is a hands‑on leadership role in a fast‑paced regional health environment. You will be a key contact for operational HR matters and work closely with managers across multiple sites. The role suits someone who enjoys problem‑solving, leading a small team and working at pace while contributing to service improvement and workforce capability.

Working under the direction of the Manager HR Operations, you will contribute to contemporary HR practices, service improvement initiatives and effective HR business partnering across a complex and diverse health workforce.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate HR Operations services, providing day‑to‑day direction, coaching and support to the HR Operations administration team
  • Deliver accurate and timely HR advice to managers on recruitment, classification management, industrial relations and workforce matters
  • Support HR governance, compliance and systems management, including recruitment advertising and HRMS processes
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, projects and service enhancements aligned with organisational priorities
  • Build strong working relationships with managers and stakeholders across the LHN to support effective workforce outcomes
What you’ll bring
  • Demonstrated experience leading or supervising staff in an HR or workforce services environment
  • Practical HR knowledge across recruitment, workforce processes and industrial matters
  • Confidence providing clear, practical advice to managers in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong organisation and the ability to juggle competing priorities in a fast‑paced setting
  • Sound judgement when handling sensitive and confidential matters
  • Solid HR systems and Microsoft skills, with good attention to detail
  • A collaborative, proactive approach and willingness to improve how we work
  • Play a key role in shaping HR service delivery across the Limestone Coast
  • Build leadership experience while leading a small, high‑impact team
  • Gain exposure to a broad range of workforce matters across a complex health service
