HRIS Configuration Specialist– Role Overview
The HRIS Configuration Specialist will be a hands‑on UKG Pro expert responsible for configuring, maintaining, and supporting the HRIS environment. This role is primarily system‑focused and centered on working directly within UKG Pro rather than leading client‑facing consulting engagements, though clear communication and collaboration remain important.
Key Requirements and Focus Areas- Deep experience working within UKG Pro
- Strong background as a configuration specialist within UKG Pro
- Hands‑on system configuration, setup, and ongoing support
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective system configurations
- Support internal teams and assist with demo workflows as needed
- Limited direct client‑facing responsibilities, but strong communication skills are still essential
- Comfortable collaborating with payroll, benefits, tax, and UKG consulting teams
