PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry to hire a seasoned Supply Chain Procurement Specialist Agent to support high-visibility U.S. defense programs. Your ImpactIn this role, you will act as a trusted advisor and procurement leader, helping drive compliant and competitive sourcing strategies that support the needs of the U.S. Department of Defense and allied global defense customers. You will mentor procurement teams, lead contract negotiations, and ensure alignment with regulatory frameworks such as FAR, DFARS, and ITAR.
Your work will directly influence proposal success, supplier performance, and program execution across critical defense initiatives.

Salary Range: $106,000–$125,000 annually

What You’ll Do Strategic Procurement & Proposal SupportSupport U.S. DoD and global defense proposal activities by developing procurement strategies for bids, contracts, and competitive sourcing initiatives
Review and validate procurement approaches to ensure compliance and cost competitiveness
Contribute to make-or-buy decisions, supplier selection, and pricing strategies
Lead complex supplier negotiations, including Terms & Conditions (T’s & C’s) and Statements of Work (SOWs)
Draft and review defense contracts and subcontracting agreements
Build compliant purchase order packages aligned with federal and defense regulations
Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and ITAR across procurement and subcontracting processes
Prepare for Contractor Purchasing System Reviews (CPSR) and maintain audit‑ready documentation
Monitor and mitigate supply chain risks in support of classified and non‑classified programs
Serve as the primary liaison between procurement, legal, engineering, finance, and program teams
Advise and mentor procurement professionals on best practices in defense sourcing
Develop and implement process improvements and training programs to strengthen compliance and efficiency
Stay current on evolving regulatory requirements and industry best practices
Support supplier performance initiatives and global defense supply chain strategies
Contribute to tools, templates, and frameworks that enhance procurement capabilities
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum 10 years of procurement experience
7–10+ years supporting U.S. DoD programs in aerospace or defense
Proven experience writing contracts and leading negotiations
Strong knowledge of supply chain subcontracting, vendor management, and sourcing strategies
Expertise in FAR, DFARS, ITAR, and defense procurement regulations
Experience supporting CPSR readiness and compliant procurement documentation
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and contract management tools This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
