This posting is for one (1) full-time, permanent position, working 75 hours biweekly. It will also establish a 12-month eligibility list which may be used to fill similar positions. Temporary Assignments may be considered, with supervisory approval.
As part of the Information Services Branch, the Systems Architect designs and oversees secure, scalable healthcare systems supporting public health programs and government healthcare services.
Our TeamThe Information Services Branch consists of three units including Information Technology, Access & Information Management, and Project Management Services. The Branch offers a comprehensive range of services designed to assist Health and Social Services including IT operational support, personal health information access requests, information management, privacy, and IT project management.
Qualifications- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Health Informatics or relevant program of study.
- Extensive experience in systems architecture or solution architecture roles.
- Proven experience designing, implementing, and maintaining architecture for healthcare information systems and digital platforms.
- Experience leading technical architecture decisions, setting architecture standards, and guiding system integration.
- Experience designing and implementing solutions using cloud platforms, APIs, and enterprise systems.
- Experience supervising staff, including providing direction, support, and performance feedback.
Candidates who have education/coursework and/or training along with considerable experience in the essential qualification listed above may be equally considered.
