Job DescriptionSummary: This onsite position is responsible for evaluating, designing, implementing, and maintaining IT systems as well as providing excellent technical support for the user community.
Job Duties:
- Handle technical support requests from users.
- Maintain a highly effective security posture to minimize risk of cyber-attacks.
- Work with manufacturing staff and vendors to troubleshoot computer-related issues with manufacturing equipment.
- Install, configure, maintain (troubleshoot, patch, upgrade) various equipment including (but not limited to):
- VoIP-based phones/system
- IP-based CCTV cameras/system
- Windows PCs/servers and Linux servers and the applications running on them.
- Network firewalls and switches & WiFi APs and controllers
- Network cabling (twisted pair and fiber)
- Print servers, laser printers, and bar code printers
- Barcode scanning equipment
- Play a key role in helping to maintain the entire computer infrastructure.
- Develop expertise in internal applications in order to provide support for them.
- Respond to off‑hours emergencies and urgent critical situations.
