Summer Business Analytics Internship

Summer 2027 Business Analytics Intern – Koch Inc. – Wichita, KS

Koch Inc. is seeking a Summer 2027 Business Analytics Intern who is excited about discovering their passions and potential while gaining real experience within our companies that create value for our customers.

Our interns work alongside experienced accountants and analysts to solve real problems and offer insights that benefit society through improving our products and services. Interns will explore our unique Principle‑Based Management culture, partner with interns from other disciplines on case studies, learn key business concepts and Koch mental models, and engage with leaders to learn more about business transformation and our work in society.

Selected candidates may be placed in one of the following areas of concentration (but not limited to):

• Accounting & Finance – long‑term opportunities in accounting, finance, treasury, and credit.
• Operations & Commercial – long‑term opportunities in logistics, scheduling, sales, trading, and project management.
• Risk & Compliance
• Strategy & Business Development
• Information Technology

• Eligible for full‑time employment no later than Summer 2028.
• Enrolled in a business‑related degree program such as Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Accounting, Finance, Agribusiness, or related fields.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or sponsorship.

• Experience with data analytics concepts (data transformation, exploratory analysis, insights).
• Strong analytical judgment and the ability to ask the right questions of data and stakeholders.
• Critical thinking, curiosity, and strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with modern analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Microsoft Fabric Suite, Power BI, Alteryx).
• Experience using generative or agentic AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) to enhance analysis, automate repetitive tasks, or support decision‑making.
• Knowledge of data querying and programming fundamentals (e.g., SQL, Python).
