Responsibilities
- Understanding of Teamcenter architecture and components
- Knowledge of Teamcenter modules such as Workflow, Structure Manager, Change Management, Access Management
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux and Windows environments
- Knowledge of databases (Oracle / SQL Server)
- Experience with ITIL-based support processes
- Handle incidents and service requests using ITSM tools (e.g., Service Now, Remedy)
- Participate in problem and change management processes
- Analyze and resolve application, data, and workflow issues
- Monitor system stability, performance, and availability
- Manage incidents, service requests, and problem records via ITSM tools
- Perform root‑cause analysis and implement permanent fixes
- Support Teamcenter upgrades, patches, and hot‑fixes
- Conduct regression and UAT testing
- Support data migration and validation activities
- Participate in release planning and deployment
- Provide advanced troubleshooting for incidents escalated from 1st level
- Perform administrative system tasks: add or remove users, update roles/groups, respond to end‑user queries
- Identify and manage repeat incidents and problems within the application, validating problem call resolutions
- Communicate with the Siemens Global Technical Access Centre (GTAC) for known deficiencies
- Use change control processes to ensure all changes are approved, scheduled, and communicated
- Expertly troubleshoot complex incidents escalated from 2nd level
- Perform advanced problem management to identify root causes and implement resolutions
- Plan and execute release management for maintenance patches and related projects
- End‑user coverage of 4 hours per week initially, monitored monthly and adjusted as needed
- 24‑hour response time for open issues
- Support patches and updates to Teamcenter, maintaining code continuity with the Montreal Civil Teamcenter environment
- Conduct up to four weekend maintenance activities, including remote updates and testing in the pre‑production environment; production maintenance scheduled at least four weeks in advance; users advised not to access Teamcenter during maintenance windows
- Maintenance activities performed by the designated primary Product Architect; on‑site work required
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Effective communication skills for interacting with technical and business users
- Ability to work independently and in cross‑functional teams
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Bachelor of Computer Science (required)

- Base salary range: $120,000 to $140,000 per annum
